Stringfellows has launched a Karaoke & Cigar Room in the heart of Covent Garden. According to their website, space boasts high-end ventilation to contain smoke and features its own surround sound system—ideal for karaoke sessions or personal playlists. The room also connects to an underground wine cellar, offering a fine selection for guests to explore.

Rosewood – Mayfair
Rumours are swirling about an exciting new cigar project opening at Rosewood —possibly within the upcoming Chancery Rosewood, set to debut in September 2025. The venue is expected to offer an upscale experience, with seating for 10 to 12 guests indoors and space for 20 to 40 more on the outdoor terrace.
DUKES London – St. James’s
DUKES London, 35 St James’s Place, London, SW1A 1NY
DUKES London temporarily closed in January 2025 for renovations, including the creation of a new cigar sampling lounge and humidor, currently being developed by Deart. Rumoured to open in Autumn 2025, this update could be a game-changer for the historic hotel.
Thames City Hotel – Nine Elms, Battersea
There is a new cigar shop and sampling lounge almost ready to open at the Thames City Hotel in Nine Elms near Battersea, London. Matthew Mason has designed and built the humidor.
The Cigar Lounge @ Nikita Mayfair
This boutique lounge will accommodate up to six guests and is expected to open later this year. Readers have shared sneak peeks of the space, but no official launch date has been confirmed.

Nicolas, Canary Wharf
Nicolas Canary Wharf is undergoing a comprehensive refurbishment, including the addition of a tasting room. The One Canada Square fine wine retailer is refocusing on bottle sales while planning to enhance its tasting facility with a dedicated cigar smoking room.
“Further to the tasting room, if our plans work out we’re hoping to have a smoking room as well for customers to try cigars. We’ve always sold plenty of cigars, but this is about offering something a bit more special. There aren’t many places that offer this kind of service – only one other on the Wharf and not many in the whole country – so it’s a way customers can linger and perhaps try some spirits along with their cigars.”
