Hunters & Frankau together with Habanos s.a. are delighted to announce that London and the United Kingdom will host a series of Habanos events over the course of three days, on the 20th, 21st and 22nd June 2024. Each day will have a distinct theme but all will be dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the Trinidad brand.
Cocktail Party
Thursday 20th June 2024
Guests will enjoy a classic English garden party with a Cuban twist. Cocktails, Havana cigars, live music and a host of other surprises will be served up, all intended to stimulate the senses, entertain the mind and delight the eye. It will be an evening to celebrate the very best of British and Cuban produce, in the heart of London.

Guests at the evening will be the first people outside Havana to smoke the new Trinidad Robusto Extra, announced at the 2024 Festival del Habanos in February. Originally released in 2004 but then discontinued a few years later, the Robusto Extra’s return to the brand’s classic portfolio is sure to be welcomed by all dedicated Habanos smokers.
Belgrave Square Garden is a two-hectare private garden in the heart of Belgravia, London. Opened in 1826 it is now listed Grade II on the Register of Historic Parks and Gardens and the ideal location to host an al fresco cocktail party in celebration of Trinidad’s 55th year. Some may also enjoy remembering this as the venue for Hunters & Frankau’s 225th anniversary party in 2015.
Seminar & Exhibition
Friday 21st June 2024 – AM
A day for true Habanos devotees. There will be keynote speakers and a round table conference that will include leading industry figures from the UK and Cuba. There will also be an exhibition of Trinidad cigars past and present featuring some of the rarest pieces ever produced by the brand. The winner of the UK ‘Trinidad Perfect Pairing’ competition will also present their Trinidad pairing to the audience.

Throughout the day attendees will be encouraged to visit the Trinidad Exhibition, featuring iconic cigars, humidors and items of interest related to the Trinidad brand sourced from around the world and displayed together for the first time.
10:30am: A conference on Trinidad: Past, Present and Future. This will be hosted by esteemed writer and 2007 Habano Hombre del Año Nick Foulkes. He will be joined by industry experts from around the world, who will share their knowledge, insight and memories of this iconic brand.
12:00pm: Coffee break. There will be an opportunity for guests to visit the exhibition and also watch a cigar rolling demonstration.
12:30pm: Cigar Tasting and Pairing: The winner of a ‘Trinidad Perfect Pairing’ competition will present their drink and Trinidad cigar pairing to the audience.
1:30pm: Conclusion of the conference.
Trinidad Tasting Time

There will be 55 tasting events held across the United Kingdom at Havana Cigar Specialists, shops, clubs, restaurants and hotels featuring a variety Trinidad cigars and drink pairings. This will be a national celebration of the brand and a chance to share a cigar among friends in your favourite location.

Gala Dinner (SOLD OUT)

The Habanos World Days draw to a close in typically lavish style with a gala dinner in spectacular surroundings. This black tie event will celebrate the launch of the Trinidad Cabildos and will feature a charity auction as well as one or two surprises for the Habanos aficionados lucky enough to secure a ticket.

The three days of celebration draw to a close with the world launch of the Trinidad Cabildo, 2024 Edición Limitada, in sensational style. The first 50,000 of these cigars to be rolled are presented in special Premier Packs, exclusively available in the UK.
The Victoria & Albert Museum can trace its beginnings back to 1852, 47 years before its foundation stone was laid by Queen Victoria in 1899. Today it is one of the finest groups of Victorian and modern buildings in Britain and is home to a collection of artifacts dedicated to human creativity that stretches back over 5,000 years. On Saturday 22nd June it will play host to the Trinidad 55th anniversary gala dinner.
The evening will begin with champagne, cocktails and Havana cigars in the John Madejski Garden before guests are invited into the Raphael Court. Here they will dine among a set of seven full-scale designs for tapestry painted by Raphael. These cartoons are considered one of the greatest treasures of the Renaissance and will provide a truly breathtaking background to a once in a lifetime experience.
With the evening drawing to a close at 11:30pm, London’s world-famous Havana cigar nightlife awaits any guests wishing to continue the festivities.
