Aaron Sigmond, an award-winning publisher, author, and creative executive with over 30 years of personal and professional experience in the world of cigars, is set to release his latest book, Cigars: A Biography, in February 2025.
Sigmond, known for works like Playboy: The Book of Cigars, The Impossible Collection of Cigars, and Arturo Fuente: Since 1912, has created a must-have for cigar enthusiasts with his new release. In collaboration with award-winning photographer Ian Spanier, the book takes readers on a rich visual and narrative journey through the world of cigars, from Cuban plantations to exclusive cigar lounges worldwide.

The 416-page volume, priced around £150, features more than 225 stunning color and black-and-white photographs by Spanier, along with rare images, historical context, and personal anecdotes from Sigmond’s extensive career. Complete with a foreword by Tom Chamberlin of The Rake, the book is a luxury item, with hand-bound pages and a cigar box-inspired slipcase. Published by Mad/Dash Press.

Sigmond was in London earlier this year, where it seemed like he was doing photo shoots at some of our wonderful cigar lounges, including The Peninsula, No. 6 Cavendish, Davidoff of London, and The Beaumont during his visit with Ian Spanier.
This remarkable book is poised to become an essential addition to the collection of any cigar aficionado. With its February 2025 release, it’s expected that Aaron will embark on an international book tour to celebrate the launch.
