On Saturday, December 7, cigar connoisseurs from across the world gathered in Doha, Qatar, to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the Trinidad brand with a grand gala dinner titled The Trinity of Trinidad.

Held at the Convention and Exhibition Center, the event was a collaboration between Habanos S.A. and Phoenicia, the second-largest distributor of Cuban cigars.
This event was part of an ongoing series of celebrations that began earlier this year with the announcement at the XXIV Habanos Festival in Cuba, where plans for a special Habanos World Days event were revealed. In June 2024, Hunters & Frankau, the UK distributor of Cuban cigars, partnered with Habanos to host a three-day tribute in London, which culminated in a gala dinner at the iconic V&A Museum, marking the debut of the Trinidad Cabildos Limited Edition 2024 cigar.

These events are playing a vital role in cementing Trinidadβs position as a top-tier premium cigar within the Cuban portfolio, elevating it alongside the iconic Cohiba brand.

The evening guided attendees through Trinidadβs storied journey, with captivating presentations, cigar unveilings and live performances. The evening included performances by Studio RAYY, Majiid and The Managers.

Phoenicia President Mohammad Zeidan addressed guests by speaking about the significance of this milestone in Trinidadβs history and hailing the support of Qatar Duty Free.

A new pop-up concept, La Casa Del Habano, appeared at Doha International Airport, as reported by Cigar Journal during the event.
In a grand reveal, the highly anticipated Trinidad Robusto Extra was introduced to guests. This new addition to the Trinidad family was paired with Havana-inspired cocktails prepared by mixologists from Teddyβs Speakeasy.

The finale of the evening featured the regional launch of the Trinidad Cabildo, accompanied by a performance created exclusively for the reveal, with symphonies by the world-renowned Michel Fadel, joined for the first time with enchanting movements presented by Americaβs Got Talent 2022 winners, The Mayyas.
