For those following the Habanos Festival, you may have heard about this cigar’s announcement in 2023. While it takes a bit of time for Cuban cigars to reach our shores after festival announcements, the Montecristo Open Slam is set to be released by Hunters & Frankau shortly in cigar shops up and down the country.

The Montecristo Open Slam measures 5 3/5 inches (142 mm) in length with a 52 ring gauge, a new vitola classified as Idílicos.

This release introduces a completely new format to the Montecristo portfolio, adding to the four existing vitolas in the Línea Open: Eagle, Regata, Master, and Junior.

City of London Cigars in Sptialfields/Liverpool Street have published details about an event where you can sample the Montecristo Open Slam in-store at the end of May, featuring Hunters & Frankau representative Sean Croley.
