It was announced earlier this week that a new La Casa Del Habano is set to open on Pall Mall, London in the first half of 2026.
For those that don’t know a La Casa Del Habano is a chain of cigar stores specialising in Cuban cigars, which are part-owned by Habanos S.A.

This particular store is a collaboration between Dominique London and Tang Tobacco. You may recognise the name Dominique London – as CGars Ltd and La Casa Del Tabaco Group of Belgium merged to form Dominique London in 2021.

The planned location appears to be 26 Pall Mall, SW1Y 4JH, in the heart of historic St James’s—an area long celebrated as London’s “Cigar Mile.”

The building, originally designed by Sir Frederick Gibberd, has undergone a complete refurbishment and now boasts marble floors, expansive windows, terraces, and integrated smart technology, making it a landmark setting for the new venture.

There are already several La Casa del Habano franchises across the UK, including:
- Hava Havana in Teddington (the OG!) – 2008
- James J. Fox at Harrods in Knightsbridge – 2018
- C.Gars in Chester – 2014
- C.Gars in Knutsford – 2019
- Mitchell’s Wines in Sheffield – 2025
- Holmes House in Nottingham – 2025
- Dominique London in Pall Mall, London – 2026
The new Pall Mall store will offer a comprehensive selection of Cuban cigars, including exclusive La Casa del Habano editions. It will feature two custom-designed walk-in humidors by DeArt of Italy, the same specialists who created the humidor for the Monte Carlo Cigar Club. The venue is also expected to feature a sampling lounge for guests to sample a cigar.
Jemma Freeman, Executive Chairman of Hunters & Frankau, the UK’s exclusive distributor of Cuban cigars, welcomed the announcement, saying: “We are delighted to see a new Casa del Habano opening in the heart of St James’s.”
Already home to iconic shops such as J.J. Fox, Davidoff of London, and C.Gars St James’s (also part of Dominique London), the district’s reputation as the world’s premier cigar destination will only be enhanced by this latest addition.
This opening forms part of a wider plan between Dominique London—Europe’s largest cigar retail network with 29 stores across five countries—and Tang Tobacco. The partners are also preparing to unveil a new high-end cigar store in Tokyo, Japan, with further details to follow.
Together, these developments confirm the UK—and especially London—as one of the world’s leading destinations for cigar enthusiasts and connoisseurs 🔥.
