After months of anticipation, Dominique London today officially opens its flagship La Casa del Habano boutique at 26 Pall Mall, London. The two-floor store welcomes visitors daily from 10:00 to 21:00, offering a curated luxury experience for both seasoned collectors and newcomers.
The Pall Mall location marks the seventh La Casa del Habano in the UK, placing the brand at the heart of St James’s, an area long associated with premium cigar retail.

Dominique London’s founder, Dominique Gyselinck, said on her website that the opening reflects the company’s commitment to combining heritage with a contemporary luxury experience. “St James’s has a rich history in cigar culture, and our flagship here allows us to offer both seasoned collectors and newcomers a curated and immersive environment,” she said.

A flagship experience
The two-floor store features two custom-built walk-in humidors by DeArt, designed to maintain precise temperature and humidity levels. The twin-humidor layout allows clients to explore a broad range of Cuban cigars, including exclusive releases only available through the La Casa del Habano network.

When visiting the DeArt humidor factory earlier this year I was lucky enough to see some early interior design mock ups of the new store.

Dedicated sampling lounges provide the perfect setting for private tastings.

Neil Millington, the newly appointed Hospitality & Vintage Humidor Manager, brings nearly 40 years of experience in luxury cigar retail and hospitality. He previously oversaw high-profile cigar collections at The Lanesborough and worked at Selfridges and Alfred Dunhill. Millington said the boutique aims to reinforce Pall Mall’s reputation as a destination for international cigar enthusiasts. “Our focus is on curating an exceptional experience,” he said. “From private tastings to expert guidance on vintage and rare cigars, we want every visitor to leave with both knowledge and enjoyment.”

The Signature Collection
Earlier this week, Cigar Journal published an article announcing Dominique London’s new Signature Collection of cigar accessories, set to debut in London at the opening of the brand’s flagship store on Pall Mall in March 2026.

Industry backing
The opening has been welcomed by Hunters & Frankau, the UK’s official distributor of Cuban cigars. Executive Chairman Jemma Freeman described the boutique as a “notable addition” to St James’s and said the company looked forward to supporting the venture.
Dominique London operates more than 30 boutiques across Europe, with the new Pall Mall store forming the centrepiece of its European footprint. It also represents the first flagship project under a strategic collaboration with Tang Tobacco, part of the Pacific Cigar Company network.
The store aims to offer more than retail, blending luxury, culture, and hospitality. Dominique Gyselinck said the boutique reflects the brand’s priorities in curation, provenance, and elevated service. “With this flagship, we are building on the heritage of St James’s while creating a space where cigar culture meets luxury retail and lounge experiences,” she said.
Keep an eye on Kirby Allison’s YouTube channel, as social media footage suggests a documentary on the boutique may soon be released.
Timing amid legislative change
The timing of opening a new cigar shop and sampling lounge comes as the Tobacco and Vapes Bill continues its passage through Parliament. The proposed law includes a generational smoking ban, under which anyone born on or after 1 January 2009 would be permanently prohibited from purchasing tobacco productsincluding cigars, with the aim of gradually reducing smoking rates over time. Amendments made in the House of Lords are being considered this week by the House of Commons this week. If approved, which seems likely, the bill would then proceed to Royal Assent before becoming law.
