The Roof Gardens in Kensington has been chosen as the venue for the first official international celebration of Cohiba’s 60th anniversary, with the worldwide launch of the new Cohiba Talismán taking place on 7 October.
Hunters & Frankau, which has been selected by Habanos S.A. to host the event, said invited guests from around the world will gather in London for the first official presentation of the new cigar. The Talismán becomes a permanent addition to Cohiba’s Classic Line, having first been released as a Limited Edition in 2017.
Located above Kensington High Street, The Roof Gardens is a historic rooftop venue known for its landscaped gardens and views across London. The choice of venue also marks a return to the capital, where Hunters & Frankau hosted the worldwide launch of the original Cohiba Talismán Limited Edition in 2017.
The announcement follows confirmation earlier this year that the 26th Habanos Festival would not take place in 2026, with Habanos S.A. saying Cohiba’s 60th anniversary would instead be marked through a series of international events.
