Service is about to resume as normal… if you’ve been following the blog, you’ll know I’ve been posting a lot about My Cigar Adventure to Cuba 🇨🇺 most recently! Now I’m back in London 🇬🇧 it’s time to continue trying to visit ALL of the different cigar shops and cigar sampling lounges as possible.
Currently, I have noted that there are 22 cigar shops with sampling lounges and 21 cigar terraces, totaling over 43 cigar venues across London. However, new places keep emerging!
Over the years, I have been trying to visit them all and document my experiences as I go along. One venue I’ve had on my radar for quite some time is Edmundos, and I finally found the time to visit it.
Background
Located in the heart of West London at 823 Fulham Road, near Chelsea, Edmundo’s Cigar Shop is one of the newer additions to the city’s cigar scene, having been established a few years ago.

Now officially recognised as a Havana Cigar Specialist (as of last week), Edmundo’s has a great selection of premium Cuban cigars inside a stylish, laid-back atmosphere that has earned it a loyal following.

Led by Omar Khan, Edmundo’s prides itself on offering the very best quality Cuban cigars—available by the box or individually.

The collection is expertly stored in humidors crafted by Matthew Mason Carpentry, whom you may remember from an interview I did with them last year.
But cigars are just the beginning. Edmundo’s offers a unique lifestyle experience for its private members, hosting exclusive cigar outings at classic car events, luxury boat trips, and private gatherings featuring speakers from across the world of fine living and luxury industries.

Outside, you’ll find an inviting setup of tables and chairs where guests can relax, light up and sample a cigar, and watch Fulham Road go by. Thanks to a smart partnership with a local cocktail bar, an impressive drinks menu is available and delivered straight to your table.
Here’s an interesting fact: this marks the second phase in the shop’s evolution, as it has moved from its original location at 668 Fulham Road to a larger, more welcoming space just across the street at 823 Fulham Road. The relocation took place at the end of 2024. To celebrate this new chapter, a few of Omar’s friends arranged for former House of Commons Speaker John Bercow to officially unveil the new cigar shop through a Cameo video 😁😆.
Open seven days a week from noon until midnight (with reduced hours on Sundays until 9 PM), it becomes a private members-only establishment after 6 PM.
Reservations are recommended to avoid disappointment. You can call them at 07908 575941 or contact them through their social media page @edmundoslondon.
My experience
Edmundo’s is one of the last cigar shops and sampling lounges on my list to explore in London. After already visiting all 21 other cigar shops and sampling lounges and receiving countless recommendations from you all to check it out, I realised I couldn’t let this opportunity slip by.
I was aware that the venue opened its doors exclusively to members after 6 PM, so I decided to take advantage of the afternoon hours for a visit. Having learned that it had recently moved to its new location across the street from its original spot, I made it a point to arrive around 4 PM. This way, I had a couple of hours to soak in the atmosphere before it transitioned to a members-only environment.
So I made my way to the nearest tube station to the venue it’s near Fulham Road, Chelsea so a bit of a stretch but interestingly very close to Hunters & Frankau’s headquarters where they get their Cuban cigars from.

I made my way to Parsons Green tube station, which is the closest station to the venue. The cigar shop is located in Fulham Road in Chelsea. Interestingly, it’s also very close to the headquarters of Hunters & Frankau, where they source their Cuban cigars.
It took roughly 10 to 15 minutes to walk from the station to the shop. As I made my way, I noticed Edmundo’s old 1.0 shop across the street—it was empty and quiet.

I then noticed Edmundo standing across from it. From the outside, the shop looks impressive, with a striking logo featuring a small silhouette of Sir Winston Churchill above the entrance 🫡.

The dark purple and green color scheme, along with curtains drawn across the windows, gives it an exclusive, members-only feel, reminiscent of Birley Cigars and Fumar.

I pressed the bell on the door, and Omar, the owner, welcomed me with warmth!

He showed me into the shop and invited me to settle into one of the big lounge chairs.

The place was filled with about 20 different types of seating spread across three cozy areas.

There was so much to absorb; it was truly a wonderful cigar store.

The humidor was filled with a variety of Cuban cigars.

There was no cash register in sight, as all transactions were handled efficiently on their tablet – meaning more space for sampling cigars!

The shop was bustling with an array of unique, high-quality collectibles—maps, lamps, motors, planes, and high-tech gadgets—all creating a wonderfully eclectic atmosphere.

In addition to the main area, there’s a private room at the back for members to hold private meetings, along with a restroom and a coffee nook. They even have the option to add internet-enabled music for ambiance.

Omar then offered me a fantastic Sancho Panza Belicosos cigar to sample.

The details:
Size: Belicosos (5 1/2″ x 52)
Origin: Cuba
Strength: Medium
Wrapper: Corojo

This cigar had wonderful floral notes and was perfectly humidified, making it a truly delightful smoke! It was a much nicer experience compared to when I smoked the same cigar back in 2021. I believe the proper storage of this cigar really contributed to this improved enjoyment.
While enjoying a cigar, Omar revealed details about his exclusive book collaboration with Aaron Sigmond. The book, Cigars: A Biography (Edmundo’s Private Edition), includes a foreword by Tom Chamberlin and is limited to just 300 copies ahead of its official release.

- Foreword: Tom Chamberlin
- Contributor: Jimmy McGhee
- Photographs: Ian Spanier
- Words: Aaron Sigmond

If you’re lucky, you might be able to get your hands on one before they’re all gone.
My rating: 8 out of 10
I finally stopped by and absolutely loved it — what a hidden gem off the beaten track! It feels like stepping into an old antique shop, full of little treasures to discover once you’ve browsed the cigar selection, chosen what cigar to sample, and settled in to relax. Omar is fantastic and made the experience even better.
Here’s a little video of my trip:
The back room is a nice addition; it would be a perfect spot for hosting a small cigar gathering. I felt like a right king sat in there sampling a cigar!

I have a feeling my US followers 🇺🇸 visiting London for business, will enjoy this place!
The events they organise seem great, although they appear to cater more to the Chelsea/Mayfair crowd than the average cigar smoker.
When I visited, it was fairly quiet, with just the occasional person popping in to pick up cigars. I didn’t even look at the price list, I was so caught up in conversation!
One thing to note: if you’re new to cigars, visiting alone might feel a little intimidating, as the vibe leans towards connoisseurs. It would probably feel more comfortable going with a mate if you’re just starting out.
It’s a bit of a trek from central London, but definitely worth a visit when it’s open to the public (outside of private members’ hours). Maybe calling or messaging them on social media (links below) before venturing out that far.
If you’re in the area, Cigars Unlimited (which has a very different vibe to this place) is about a 20-minute walk away and also worth checking out. I only wish Hunters & Frankau’s HQ was open to the public — I’ve heard it is a bit of a cigar museum inside, but unfortunately, it’s not open to the public; it merely appears as an office from the outside.
